Explores how to understand, use, and manage our emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict.

Module Four – Stress

Explores the concept that stress is the reaction to a situation – not the actual situation. Discusses common workplace stressor and their impacts to the human body. As well as what you can do as an employer and employee, when experiencing stress.

Module Five – Fostering a Resilient Workforce

Explores the importance of workplace bonds. Reviews the concept that grief and resilience are, not mutually exclusive experiences, and one can shape the other. Focuses on four core components of a resilient workforce—connection, wellness, healthy thinking, and meaning.

Module Six – What Can You Do

Discusses the importance of reviewing existing compassionate leave policies/guidelines or create new guidelines to ensure they are fit our current landscape.

Module Seven – Cost of Not Caring

Discusses the challenges to an organization when an employee perceives uncaring, such as demotivation, turnover of staff, recruiting difficulties and the impacts of branding.
