“We can’t acknowledge what we can’t talk about.”
This program is for parents, teachers, school counsellors and everyone who has contact with children.
The skills learned here can be of enormous value no matter what loss a child has experienced. Adults often recognize the loss of a family member, pet, or significant life events such as moving and divorce. However, let’s not forget the daily events surrounding our children at school and in the playground, especially with the recent changes created by the pandemic.
Come prepared to talk about ...
-
What change and grief are
-
The inadvertently passed on bits of “misinformation” we learned as children about dealing with loss.
-
The six myths of grief
-
The tools our children can be taught to cope with change

This program is an online workshop format and is spaced over four weeks at approximately 2.5 hours per week.
*There will be a small amount of homework used to share our thoughts and experiences.
